Ro Nowak

Hi! I'm Ro. I'm a writer and researcher from Germany who has been living in England since the autumn of 2020. I work at a hotel at night and on a PhD in English literature during the day. In my dissertation I explore monstrous plants in horror, Gothic, and weird fiction. My own writing is centered around similar topics and atmospheres - I like texts that are dark and strange, and I can never resist a (fictional) murderous plant. 

Between December 2020 and August 2022, I co-edited non-fiction for Queerlings Magazine.

Before the summer of 2022, I wrote as Rosa Nowak.
